Very nice cafe with great outdoor seating. Stopped for lunch while passing through. Food was good and so was the service. Seemed like a very popular place.

Really good breakfast I had chorizo, red potatoes, buttermilk pancake and eggs. Everything was really tasty and seating with no wait time on a Saturday morning.

The Mason Jar Cafe in Benton Harbor's arts district might need some work--its renovations feel a bit haphazard--but the food and service were excellent. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you can overlook the poorly fixed-up surroundings, you'll enjoy a fantastic meal. Definitely worth a visit for the great food and service!

Just a couple miles from the pier and beaches. This restaurant is popular for a reason. The food was a level above. Anything else? We have tasted. Anything from the stuffed French toast to the corned beef hash was a unique interpretation that was done better than the classic. The only problem was that we had planned to pick up the food at noon and it was over a half an hour late, leaving us hungerly eying at all the other guests with their food. Other than that, as long as you anticipate a bit of weight, it's very much a win.

Yelp does it again. Looking for a place to eat in the middle of in nowhere and used Yelp to find this gem. Cute place, not fancy but busy and the hood was great. Server was great and recommended the corned beef hash. It was awesome. Never had one like it.

I came here for brunch on a weekday. Everything was great: food, outdoor seating - dog friendly, staff. The food was fresh, literally fresh! Fresh squeezed orange juice to fresh corned beef in the corned beef hash (I usually see the canned version at restaurants). Pros: -delicious fresh food -friendly staff -dog friendly (triple points because sometimes it is hard to find), there were some dogs in the patio dining with their fam when we went -kid/baby friendly Customer service: prompt and friendly staff! Orange juice: freshly squeezed and tasty, worth it if you like OJ with a breakfast meal. Chicken sausages: ordered a side order and it came with 3 plump chicken sausages. It's tastes good and would compliment a meal that didn't contain meat or if you just want more meat. Smoked salmon scramble: I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The scramble contained fresh smoked salmon with seasoned potatoes that went well together. The portion was more than enough, could have leftovers depending on the person's appetite. I'd recommend this if you want fish vs. meat/pure veggies in your meal. Soo good! -pancakes: I chose pancakes for the salmon scramble and we were wow'ed by the fluffy delicious pancake. Corned beef hash: impressed and first time having corned beef hash that wasn't from a can. Yumm & filling. The toast that came with it was delicious with the perfect amount of butter. Everything was perfect during my dining experience here. Wish we had this restaurant in IL (NW suburbs)! I recommend coming here if you are in Michigan (even if it's a 30 min drive from your stay), it's worth it!

This place was recommended to me and it was really good. I had the breakfast sandwich with jalapeño sausage and potatoes. It had amazing flavor but it was really difficult to eat as a sandwich because there was so much guacamole on it. The sausage was really good and the potatoes were ok. The stuffed French toast was really good. The berry compote was perfect in balancing out the sweetness of the French toast. They also have a variety of hot sauces and the unicorn tears was AMAZING! It was a great balance of heat and sweet. If you are on the area, I would definitely recommend this place.
